Hours after it was revealed that YouTube Red and Disney had cut ties, some news sites reported that one of the anti-semitic videos was still on his YouTube channel.

"We've made a decision to cancel the release of Scare PewDiePie Season 2 and we're removing the PewDiePie channel from Google Preferred", a YouTube spokeswoman said.

Despite earlier reports that the content had been removed from PewDiePie's YouTube channel, at time of writing the video is still online and has been viewed almost 10 million times.

A Maker Studios' spokeswoman reportedly said, "Although Felix has created a following by being provocative and irreverent, he clearly went too far in this case and the resulting videos are inappropriate".

PewDiePie defended himself on Tumblr, writing: "I was trying to show how insane the modern world is, specifically some of the services available online", he wrote, continuing, "I think it's important to say something and I want to make one thing clear: I am in no way supporting any kind of hateful attitudes". The video was pulled from YouTube this past weekend.

The YouTuber posted a video, which is no longer up, defending his actions, according to Engadget.

PewDiePie has YouTube's most subscribed channel with 53 million subscribers and has garnered more views than anyone on the platform with his main YouTube page alone. The video streaming service that once hosted the very same content is distancing itself from the Internet personality by canceling his show and delisting him from its premium advertising. One of the videos deemed as offensive featured two men holding a sign that reads "Death To All Jews".

The news appears to have caught everyone involved off-guard; as of Tuesday morning, Kjellberg was still listed as part of the Maker Studios network on the company's website. "We're going to have to start separating what is a joke, and what is actually problematic", Kjellberg said in the video.

Royals signing former Cubs pitcher Travis Wood
Wood, 30, reportedly signed a two-year, $12 million deal with Kansas City. Wood was drafted by the Reds in the second round of the June 2005 draft.

Google requires that all videos uploaded to the site comply with its community guidelines, which include restrictions on hate speech. "I know my audience understand [s] that and that is why they come to my channel".

"Regardless of the true intent, this kind of attempt at dark humor goes places that would make most, if not all, advertisers uncomfortable", Schafer said.

"Though this was not my intention, I understand that these jokes were ultimately offensive", he admitted.
